A Bit About Paul
Paul's love for Hospitality began at 18 and he has been involved in the industry for over 20 years. He developed his in-depth understanding of food and wine while amassing a great CV of working at various hospitality sites across Essex.
​
It was during this time that he completed his level 3 WSET wine exams, hosting regular wine tastings and travelling with his skill to some of the most iconic wine regions around the world.
​
Because of his passion and knowledge we are delighted to have him as part of the New Hall family as our first Ambassador, helping to showcase the delicious English Wines produced here in the Crouch Valley of Essex.

With over 22 years experience, Pauls brother, Chef Christopher Laurie focusses his business on creating exceptional culinary experiences for any occasion.

With some of the nation's best produce found in Essex, Chris will be serving four courses of locally grown produce throughout the county on the evening. ​The evening will be hosted by Paul Laurie, who will pair each dish with a glass of New Hall wine.
